Look I'm Loving: Shearling

Shearling is the perfect winter fabric: warm and cozy and when paired with a leather jacket or suede boots, very chic.  There are so many ways to wear shearling this winter, but my favourite is definitely the shearling lined Burberry jacket as pictured above.

Look I'm Loving: Corset Tops

I've been really liking corset tops lately and when I saw this photo of Rihanna I remembered why.  Oh my gosh, she looks amazing.  I wasn't really into the bright red hair, but it looks really pretty pulled up curly with that cute pink bow.  Overall this is one of the best looks I've seen on Rihanna... Love it! :)

My New Fave: Magdalena Frackowiak

Magdalena Frackowiak is a Polish model who quickly rose to supermodel status when she first hit the international runways in 2006.  With her heartshaped face and prominent cheekbones, Magdalena has a really unique beauty.  You can see her in the Lanvin Fall/Winter ad campaigns.

Dramatic Mod Makeup: Dior Fall 2008

These photos are from the Dior Fall 2008 Runway show and the models looked like lifesize dolls with their perfectly coiffed big hair and dramatic sex kitten makeup.  I know it's very doll-like and dramatic, but I really love this look.  It would be really fun to try for a costume party, but not so practical for every day ;)

Big!Sexy!Hair!

Anyone who knows me knows my obsession with big hair.  I love it.  Big, voluminous hair is just so sexy and feminine.  So of course when I stumbled upon this photo shoot from Pop Magazine in 2008 I feel in love.  

Crazy Fashion: Gold Armour?

Natalia Vodianova looks like a metallic Warrior/Goddess on the December cover of British Harper's Bazaar.  I'm hoping this was just an artistic shot and that someone wouldn't actually consider wearing that "dress" out in public.  Of course, Natalia looks as gorgeous as she always does...

My New Fave: Frida Gustavsson

Frida Gustavsson is a Swedish model who was discovered while shopping in Stockholm.  She is currently ranked at 35 on Models.com list of top 50 female models and is a runway favourite this year.  I really like her look, especially the last photo of her with pale skin and bright red lips.

Look I'm Loving: Pretty Florals

Florals are normally a Spring/Summer trend, but this year we're seeing a lot of florals worn a new way: on winter cardigans, rainboots, umbrellas and even jewellery (see the ring pictured above). Many celebs are also embracing feminine florals, Rihanna has said recently that her style is changing and she's into florals partially because everyone is trying to dress like Lady Gaga and she wants to go in another direction.

This is the cover artwork for Rihanna's new CD "Loud" featuring the new song "Only Girl".  I really love this photo, she looks so beautiful!  The CD is really good too, my favourite song is "What's My Name" featuring Drake.
